Berlin Knits
As announced in the newsletter, we were an exhibitor at this years Berlin Knits yarn festival in Berlin. It was very nice, and here are some pictures.
Bluefaced DK
This is a 100% superwash wool from the English Bluefaced Leicester sheep, running 225 meters on 100g (246 yards). The yarn is suitable for pullovers, cardigans as well as hats and mittens. An ideal yarn for the upcoming cool season.
Mongolian DK
The luXXurious variety of a DK yarn we call Mongolian DK, a combination of 20% yak, 20% silk and 60% superwash merino, running 212 meters on 100g (231 yards). This yarn is extremely soft and very suitable for cowls and shawls close to your skin and the undyed version is very beautiful.
